One of the coolest projects I had the privilege to work on during my contract with Parkinson Association of Alberta was a poster for a fundraising Cribbage Tournament. This presented me with a cool challenge to make something that would be incredibly interesting and evocative. My keywords for this project were playful, fun, and visually pleasing. I used muted colours to create an overall composition that is comfortable, then used the pattern of a cribbage board to create a boarder around my content. Cribbage pegs were used to create motion and interest while punctuating the frame. The boarder was used to pull the eye towards our key communicative content and funnel the eye through our text. Two sizes were made, a 11x17 poster size and standard letter paper size. Please let me know what you think!
